Terms and Conditions

General Terms

All classes, memberships, class packs and introductory offers are subject to the following Terms & Conditions.

By booking into a class or purchasing a membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

All purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.


1. Introductory Offer

The Introductory Offer is available to new clients only and may only be purchased once per person.

The Introductory Offer:

  • Is valid for 14 days from the date of your first booked class
  • Is non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Activates from the date of your first booking

Any misuse of the Introductory Offer, including purchasing under another name or email address, may result in suspension of your account and additional charges for classes attended.


2. Class Bookings

All bookings are managed through the Momence app or website.

Payment must be made prior to booking a class.

To attend classes, clients must:

  • Create a Momence account
  • Purchase sessions or an active membership
  • Secure a booking prior to attending

3. Class Minimums & Cancellations by Sol Bod Movement

A minimum number of bookings may be required for a class to proceed.

If a class is cancelled due to low attendance:

  • Morning classes will be cancelled by 8pm the evening prior
  • Evening classes may be cancelled up to 2 hours prior

Clients will be notified via text or email.

Any class credits used will automatically return to the client’s account. Membership holders will not incur any fees.


4. Waitlist Policy

If a class is full, clients may join the waitlist.

When a place becomes available:

  • You will receive a text or notification from Momence
  • You will have a limited time to accept the spot
  • If not accepted, the place will be offered to the next person

Clients are responsible for removing themselves from the waitlist if they no longer wish to attend.


5. Cancellation & No Show Policy

Clients are required to cancel classes at least 9 hours prior to the class start time.

Class Pack Holders

Late cancellations and no-shows will result in the loss of the session credit.

Balance & Momentum Membership Holders

Late cancellations, absences and no-shows will result in the loss of the class credit allocated to your membership.

Elite Membership Holders

As the Elite Membership includes unlimited classes, the following fees apply:

  • Late cancellations within 9 hours incur a $5 fee
  • No-shows incur a $15 fee

Fees will automatically process using the payment method linked to your Momence account.


6. Class Pack Expiry

Class Packs are valid for the following durations:

  • Introductory Offer — 14 days
  • 5 Class Pack — 3 months
  • 10 Class Pack — 3 months
  • 15 Class Pack — 6 months
  • 25 Class Pack — 6 months
  • 50 Class Pack — 12 months

Expiry dates begin from the date of purchase.

Class Packs are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Extensions may be considered for medical reasons with supporting documentation provided prior to the expiry date.


7. Membership Terms

All memberships operate on a recurring 7-day autopay schedule through Momence.

Membership payments will continue automatically until written notice of cancellation is received in accordance with the cancellation policy below.

Membership pricing may be subject to change. Any changes will be communicated in writing with a minimum of 4 weeks notice.


8. Membership Options

Balance Membership

  • 2 classes per week
  • Minimum 12-week commitment
  • Weekly autopay
  • Unused weekly credits do not roll over

Momentum Membership

  • 3 classes per week
  • Minimum 12-week commitment
  • Weekly autopay
  • Unused weekly credits do not roll over

Elite Membership

  • Unlimited reformer classes
  • Includes all reformer class styles including Reformer Flow, Reformer Strength and Reformer Yin
  • Minimum 12-week commitment
  • Weekly autopay

Foundation Memberships

Foundation memberships are legacy memberships available only to existing eligible members.

Foundation memberships continue on an ongoing weekly autopay schedule until written cancellation notice is received.


9. Membership Cancellation Policy

Memberships require a minimum of 2 weeks written notice for cancellation.

Cancellation requests must be emailed to:

If a membership is cancelled prior to the completion of the minimum term, the remaining balance of the contract period must be paid in full.


10. Membership Suspensions

Membership suspensions require a minimum of 1 weeks written notice.

Suspensions are limited to 6 weeks per calendar year unless otherwise approved by management.

11. Failed Payments

If a scheduled payment fails:

  • The membership may be temporarily paused
  • Bookings may be restricted until payment is received

Payments will automatically retry through Momence.

Repeated failed payments may result in membership termination and recovery of outstanding balances.


12. Medical & Safety

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.

Sol Bod Movement reserves the right to:

  • Restrict participation in certain class styles
  • Request medical clearance
  • Refuse attendance where safety may be compromised

Medical clearance must be provided in writing by a qualified medical practitioner.


13. Pregnancy & Postpartum

Pre-Natal

Clients who are new to Pilates during pregnancy are encouraged to begin with private sessions prior to attending group classes.

Clients with previous Pilates experience may attend suitable reformer classes with instructor guidance and appropriate modifications.

High-risk pregnancies require medical clearance.

Please inform your instructor of your pregnancy prior to each class.

Post-Natal

Clients may return to classes following medical clearance from their GP, Obstetrician or healthcare provider.

14. Private Sessions

Private sessions are available in 30 or 45 minute formats and must be booked in advance.

All private clients are required to complete relevant forms prior to their first session.

Private sessions may include movement assessments and injury screening.


15. Gift Cards & Vouchers

Gift Cards and Vouchers:

  • Are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Valid for 3 years from date of purchase
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • May be used on eligible classes and retail products

Extensions may be considered for medical reasons with supporting documentation.


16. Transaction Fees

Transaction fees apply to all purchases made through Momence.

Current processing fees:

  • Credit/Debit Card — 30c + 2.7%
  • Direct Debit — 30c + 2%

These fees are subject to change by the payment provider.


17. Refund Policy

Refunds are provided strictly in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Sol Bod Movement does not provide refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Missed classes
  • Unused sessions
  • Membership non-usage

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


18. Studio Conduct

Sol Bod Movement reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate memberships where a client:

  • Behaves inappropriately
  • Is abusive toward staff or members
  • Engages in unsafe, offensive or unlawful behaviour
